We recognize the irony of founding an ism to critique the proliferation of isms.
But we also recognize the void their absence has left.
There is urgency in having a new ism, critically aware, neither here nor there.
The 21st century suffers from discourse without anchors. We propose Post-Positionism as a north star— a glimmer in the constellation of meaning, noise, and opinions that don’t matter. We inherit the metasediments from previous isms, not to copy, but to parody, reproduce, and distort them until their hollow cores echo louder than their claims to truth. Post-Positionism refuses novelty for its own sake; instead, it thrives on misalignment, misquotation, and the recycling of dead forms as living jokes. Ours is a stance that disorients, a compass that points everywhere at once.
We are a blur of low-res images, hyperstitious lobster deities, cyber-gothic time-traveling lemurs, dematerialized solar waste, parasitic big toes, and the tick that transgress the trikosmos.
Yes, we are reactionary.
But in an age allergic to commitment,
to take a stand is itself a radical act. Utopian Punk.
